Our Story...
From our start as Hunter Rail & Civil, we evolved into McCarthy Diesel & Plant and have since grown into one of the Hunter's preferred providers for Heavy Vehicle & Plant Repairs and Fabrication & Maintenance. Led by Managing Director Nathan Parfoot — who brings over 15 years of industry experience — we have continued to grow and evolve since our founding in 2016.
Our strength lies in our people. Our family of Plant Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Boilermakers, Plant Operators and Administrative staff each bring a unique skillset; working together to deliver consistently high quality across every job. We're small but growing, experienced but agile, and fully equipped with the skills, resources and management to handle projects of all types and sizes. We invest in creating a positive workplace because we know that a happy, motivated team is what drives great outcomes for our clients.
